Summary/Objective
Assist in conducting periodic audits and providing feedback to middle and upper management. Assist in maintenance of records associated with Food Safety, Quality and Training programs. Provide back up support for Quality / Safety Manager in their absence.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Primary functions include but are not limited to assisting the Quality / Safety Manager with the following:
1. Performing and documenting internal audits of policies, procedures and work instructions to ensure programs are current, understood by responsible parties and meet current food quality, safety and legality Standards
2. Completing Corrective Action / Preventive Action documentation for findings outside of Standard
3. Conducting meetings with responsible parties as part of internal audits
4. Performing and documenting monthly review of public warehouse operations pest control providers weekly services
5. Distribute monthly training materials to satisfy Food Safety and General Industry requirements
6. Maintain paper and electronic records associated with monthly and new hire training
7. Serve as primary contact for third party, government and/or vendor audits
Qualifications
1. PCQI Certified (Preventative Controls Qualified Individual) 2. HACCP certified
3. Trained in Internal Auditing or obtain certification within 45 days 4. Excellent organizational skills 5. Ability to schedule, prioritize and work independently 6. Overall positive approach to challenges
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills
8. Able to be trusted with confidential information
9. Ability to work with outside auditors, inspectors and government agencies
Work Environment and Travel
This position will be based out of the ABW3000 office facility but there will be significant travel between all of the public warehouse facilities in Acworth, Kennesaw and Lithia Springs.
