Job Title: Human Resources - Generalist
Reports To: Human Resources Director
Manages: none
Summary/Objective
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for recruiting and hiring associates to fill open warehouse positions. Daily communication with associates to ensure policies are adhered to as well as administer disciplinary actions when required. Employee relations is a key component of the position.
Essential Functions

Recruit and hire new personnel as required by the location
Promptly report employee complaints to HR Director
Investigate and review of all employee complaints with oversight as requested
Manage and upload disciplinary actions and other documents as needed
Engage and interact with ABW personnel on a daily basis
Process new hires and terminations in ADP
Manage accident/incident reviews
Support the new hire and renewal training activities and respective site locations
Maintain HR reporting as required
Communicate and assess staffing needs to Staffing Partners
Update employee roster and other databases as needed
Qualifications
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. Knowledge of applicable labor laws
3. Proficient computer skills
a. Web based recruiting tools
b. Microsoft office
4. SHRM certification preferred
Work Environment
1. Office-based
2. Regular interaction with executives, sales teams, clients, and finance personnel.
3. May require occasional flexibility in hours to support executive needs.
Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 11am-7pm.
Travel Requirements
May be required to move between buildings within ABW Contract and Public operations.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field or some college level education with supporting equivalent experience
